Varsity Cheerleaders Win State Competition
Our Varsity Cheerleaders and Coach Lisa Stobbe have spent countless hours practicing, overcoming injuries, and preparing for state competition. On Saturday, December 1, 2018, all that hard work and dedication paid off as they won their division at the state competition.
This year our Varsity Cheerleaders competed in the Missouri Cheer Coaches Association Timeout Division at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. This is their first time competing in the Timeout Division. For the Timeout Division, the cheerleaders were scored on the following: Entrance (5 points), Crowd Response (15 points), Props (5), Motions (15), Voice (10), Showmanship (15), Formations (10), Creativity (15), and Overall Impression (10) for a total of 100 points.
Congratulations on all your hard work and State Championship, Varsity Cheerleaders and Coach Stobbe! You all make us Putnam Proud!
