Due to massive amounts of rainfall and severe storms, the softball fields were soaked, flooded, and needed maintenance before the District Softball Tournament this coming Thursday. Several people came together to prepare the fields for district play. Parents of the players donated their time and equipment to the effort of drying and re-maintaining the field. While volunteers, Gerald Owings, and school staff, Michelle Cunningham, John Fowler, Jerrad Clark, Craig Salisbury, Coach Fitzpatrick, Coach Bondy, and Dr. Halley,  put in their time and sweat in order to have the softball fields ready for the big tournament. A huge thank you to these individuals and everyone involved who help make events like this happen. We are Putnam Proud!
